New Single Release Coming "SKIES" 04.09.23

Gary Albert has a new single releasing on 04.09.23

It is a collaboration between Gary and artist Morag Donnelly.

The single, composed by Gary Albert, is called '“Skies”, a haunting and hypnotic solo piano piece drawing on minimalism, folk melodies and cinematic harmonies.

The visuals are by painter, photographer and artist Morag Donnelly. Using a selection of her exquisite images the 8 minute visual and sonic journey weaves to together music and image in a transportive, deeply meditative moment of peace and introspection.

Using the sky as a metaphor for life, spiritual awakening, realisation and truth the underlying message tells us that that even tho it may rain, even tho storms may come, even tho things may look grey, there is always a crack where the light comes through.

As one fan put it “… the crack in the sky is faith and hope and that if I focus on the light, I can break through and free from the darkness . My shadows do not have to encase me because they are merely a part of me”.
